The background behind this text is one of the favorite photos I’ve taken. It’s my front yard in a house I no longer live in, in the dead of winter on a full moon. I loved how the shadows of the trees cast shadows on the ground like finernails being dragged through the snow and ice… I like it for thematic reasons, of course. It’s a very low-quality picture in all technical concerns.
